Board of Directors

The Texas Water Association voting Board of Directors is made up of the following individual members:

• Our presidential tree, which includes an immediate past-president, president, and president-elect
• Seven members from nine different panels, all who serve staggered three-year terms
• Six presidential appointees (two for each of the three presidents, serving concurrent terms)
• Two appointees from the TWCA Risk Management Fund
• All TWA past-presidents who continue to be dues-paying members of the Association

At the Annual Convention each March, each panel elects 2-3 members (depending on how many of the staggered terms have expired) to serve on the board while also appointing one board member to serve as a vice president/panel chair, and another to serve on the association’s Executive Committee.

Each year at its December meeting, the board elects an individual to serve as president-elect starting June 1 of the following year. That individual will assume the duties of the president approximately 18 months later.
