Executive Director
Stacey has been with TWA since 2015. She is a licensed Texas attorney with extensive experience in water policy and leading nonprofit associations. In addition to her prior work at Texas Groundwater Association and Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts, Stacey worked in private practice and state government on water and natural resources issues. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Ecology from Baylor University, a Master of Science in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University, and a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Montana School of Law.
Director of Policy & Legislative Affairs
Since 2020, Sarah has worked with members of TWA to develop policy positions and advance initiatives at the Texas Legislature. Previously, she was Director of Policy and Planning at Texas 2036 and spent 13 years at the Sunset Advisory Commission, working across most sectors of state government to improve efficiency. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Services and Development from Tarleton State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas.
Membership & Events Director
With more than 15 years of experience in event coordination and stakeholder engagement, Lindsey leads initiatives to drive member engagement and expand TWA's impact. She previously directed high-profile events for the Texas Water Development Board and has a background in hospitality management. Lindsey holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Business and Art History from Texas State University and is a Certified Specialist in Wine.
Communications & Creative Director
Mary is an award-winning marketing and communications leader, focused on advancing TWA’s vision and engaging the broader community on water issues. She brings extensive association experience from her previous work at Texas Trucking Association and Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design & Production and Art from Louisiana State University and an Associate of Science in Visual Communications from Austin Community College, and her work has been featured in Graphic Design USA and Macworld.
Finance & Events Manager
Lisa has been with TWA since 1999, managing financial accounts, bookkeeping, and assisting with conferences and office operations. She attended Texas State University and previously worked in marketing and sales at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. Lisa was recognized at the TWA 2025 Annual Convention with a Staff Appreciation Award in honor of her 25 years of dedicated service to the Association.
Administrative Assistant
Becky has been with TWA since 2001, supporting membership updates, conference registration, and daily office operations. She also assists with events and the TWA Risk Management Fund. Becky studied Computer Science at Huston-Tillotson University.
